After the big boom that the industry experienced a few years ago before the recession analysts estimate that the unlikely to happen again, Information Technology outsourcing growth is on the rebound but it is unlikely that it will ever the same again. The mega deals of the old are now gone and whatever mega deals that do come, no longer impact the industry as much as it used to. From being Information Technology outsourcers to software producers if they desire to be more competitive in the future, India the current Information Technology outsourcing hub has been cited by Forrester analyst as in need of an evolution.
To take their development activities from systems integration projects and turn that into software that can be reused or potentially sold to a new clients much better leverage and much better margins. The forrester research predicts a 9.3 percent growth in Information Technology spend to $1.5 trillion. The fellow research company has a lower forecast pegged at 5.3 percent. Meanwhile a commissioned study by Information Technology solution company the Savvis Inc predicts Information Technology infrastructure to increase globally from, 17 percent to 64 percent in the year 2020. In the Information Technology outsourcing, IT services provider HCL Technologies announced that they are shifting focus onto the Brazillian market in order to expand and strengthen its breadth of infrastructure services in the market.
